I know there isn't a native button to toggle show/hide point clouds but i wondered whether any of you geniuses knew of a way to do this task.
I did wonder if maybe a script would work if the point cloud in question was always named the same (PointCloud001) for example.
i use f3 to toggle wireframe a lot while modelling and would find the same functionality with the point cloud immensely helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Danny

Hi @Anonymous, just wanted to follow-up to see if @rendermaster solution worked for you.
Thanks!
Not entirely. The hotkey ring up the point cloud dialogue box but doesn't allow me to toggle show/hide unless i'm not quite doing it right.

Hi @Anonymous,
Sorry I did not see your last post here since the thread was marked as resolved, I have gone ahead and unmarked the thread because of this.
I think I have found a solution to this request for you by creating an MCR script with the help of my colleague @ads_royje. Could you please give this a try on your end, as it worked very well to hide/show any Point Clouds that were in our scenes:
If this resolves your request please just mark this post as the solution, thanks so much!
You guys are truely amazing. This is a lifesaver. I can say how long i have been needing exactly this! Perfect!
Kind Regards,
Danny
So glad it could help @Anonymous! Happy Maxing!!
