Hotkey show/hide for pointcloud.

I know there isn't a native button to toggle show/hide point clouds but i wondered whether any of you geniuses knew of a way to do this task.

I did wonder if maybe a script would work if the point cloud in question was always named the same (PointCloud001) for example.

i use f3 to toggle wireframe a lot while modelling and would find the same functionality with the point cloud immensely helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Danny

Not entirely. The hotkey ring up the point cloud dialogue box but doesn't allow me to toggle show/hide unless i'm not quite doing it right.

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry I did not see your last post here since the thread was marked as resolved, I have gone ahead and unmarked the thread because of this. Smiley Happy

I think I have found a solution to this request for you by creating an MCR script with the help of my colleague @ads_royje. Could you please give this a try on your end, as it worked very well to hide/show any Point Clouds that were in our scenes:

If this resolves your request please just mark this post as the solution, thanks so much!
