Hi,
First sorry for the delay, i had lots of work today, and yesterday i got your file around 3 in the morning(time difference),
I checked your file, and i don't why it's so meshy, and lots of flipped normals,
I think for a simple geometry like these it has to be done with few clean polygons facing the same directions.
Because as you may know, if you want a good result, i need to provide you the geometry with two kind of UVing,
One for the diffuse map(channel 1) and the other for the lightmap(channel 2). and for the second one the UVing should be done right,
that means no overlapping UV's or attached one, it's also better to have spaces between the UV chunks, plus other stuff, and with all these polygons
that are showing in the UV editor It's really annoying and honestly i don't have time for all the cleaning and fixing.
But so you don't i didn't work on it at all, i will attach a zip file containing an FBX file with only one seat + a max file that i worked on for a 30 minutes,
In the max file you'll see the seat i worked on and the other is hidden. i did some quick cleaning and UVing and some Normal flipping,
You can try importing the FBX to unreal and check it. i know this is not the top quality needed, still need work but i have no time unless it's clean.
