I'm trying to import a floor plan from AutoCAD, however, when I import it 3D Max doesn't place it on the center of the grid. I've tried selecting the whole floor plan and just zero the coordinates but it 3Dmax doesn't let me enter any coordinates when I select the floor plan. Any help?
Try grouping all the geometry and then use the move tool. Ungroup the geometry when you get the floor plan where you want it. You can use the measure tool to check the location.
