Displacement Map Problem

Hello, I'm new to the forums, so I hope this is directed to the correct place.

I'm having a problem with a displacement map used in a material for the side of a house. The house is built with several boxes; however, one of the boxes was converted to a ProBoolean and I subtracted a few areas from it. I then converted it into an editable poly and put the same displacement map on it as the rest of the house (a simple black and white striped map). The rest of the house shows the displacement map the correct way, but the section that was ProBoolean(ed) has these strange squiggles. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

N

The boolean process may have moved some UV co-ordinates on that side.  Try selecting the problem faces in Editable Poly mode and add a UVW Map modifier to apply new planar mapping.  Play with the Alignment axis and the Fit button until it's correctly aligned.
