Chamfer on Joint

Noob to 3DS Max here.

I have an export from Revit which contains curtain walls which I want to apply a chamfer to the edges of.

How do I avoid the following (best see screenshot) ? In this example to sections have been joined together using the Attach command. There are many of these, so wondering if there's some form of auto solution?

As far as I know there isn't a way in Revit to make this joins a single continuous piece, hence why I need to join the geo after wards.

Thanks in advance!
