Can,t move "Slice Plane" submodifier by absolute world

The title says it all... can't move slice plane submodifier by an absolute world for some reason. In fact sometimes you can, and sometimes you can't... Anyone know the cause ?

I tried to reproduce your issue and could not. If you can upload your file I'll be glad to look at it though.

One thing I've found is that in a 'Group' if I have a mixture of elements, say geometry, a light, a spline, a helper, etc., it prevents some functions or modifiers from working properly. Ungroup your model and remove anything that is not 'Geometry' and regroup it. Try 'Slice' again and see if it work as expected.

There is no external entities besides geometry (they are even exploded to minimum in that group). Some of those geometries have Corona light material applied to them so maybe thi is the cause ?

What if you import or merge the object in a new Scanline Render file and assign a generic material to it? Does it still fail? If so, then it's unlikely to be the Corona material. But, if it works, you may be on to something.

Can you share the file? I'd be happy to look at it.
