BRIDGE ERROR?

ENCLOSED: IMAGE FILE, 3DS MAX

I JUST CLICKED "BRIDGE" WITH TWO POLYGONS.

AND THE GREEN COLOR OF OBJECT BECAME BLACK(LEFT).

THE RENDERED IMAGE IS SOMEHOW DIFFERENT FROM THE OBJECT AT THE SCREEN.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Actually I'm asking about a seat or cushion, a part of chair, not a whole frame of chair ...

It seems that the Polygons Normal has reversed, Try Editable Poly -> Element (Selection Mode) -> Select Object -> Flip (Button Under Edit Element Rollout).
