I just tested new 3ds max 2018. In all previous versions you could assign custom colors to primitives, or you could set one color whichever you liked and from that moment all new boxes and spheres would be created with that default color and now no matter what you do, primitives stay blue. Of course I can assign random colors manually every time I create new primitive, but can someone enlighten me, what is the logic behind this ? To make simplest things more complicated ?
