Dear Community,
I do not understand why, but 3DS Max 2021 is extremely sluggish during modelling. It happens almost all of the time now. Even in small scenes with polygon count less than 40K, when I select objects it takes multiple seconds (sometimes up to 4-5 seconds) for 3ds max to react. This greatly slows me down. I have a beast of a machine (Intel 8700K, RTX 2080Ti running studio driver, 32 Gb RAM) so it is not hardware. I also recently reinstalled the OS. I already did the performance settings for the GPU driver in windows but that did not help. I also did not see this in previous versions of 3DS Max.
