Hi jkorngold,

Have you tried to reset 3ds max to default?

Heya, i have done.
The problem appears when looking at the object from the backside.
quick example is turning a 4x4 division Plane to Editable poly. all disappears when looking at it on a solid color background, i noticed the edges to still be there when i set the background to gradient. *note that im using the Light UI setup, been using 3ds max for 20 years (renascent.nl) now at google. Cheers!

Hi @jkorngold,

Could you submit the file you added the image of? I'd like to take a look at it and see what might be going on there.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the files @jkorngold!

Here's a link to the Screencast video I made so you can can work with your edges and polys again. It seems that was just an issue of turning off "Backface Cull" in the Object Properties of the model. 😃

Let me know if this helps!

Have a great day!
