vertices not showing correctly

Hi there.

I'm new to 3Ds Max and have an assignment due for a college project, but I'm having trouble getting vertices to appear the way I want them to.

Most versions of 3Ds max display vertice with grids connecting to each point, like this.

However, my 3Ds Max displays vertices without the grids, like this.

This seems like a minor problem, but I find it quite hindering when i try to follow modelling tutorials. How do I fix this?

I'm using 3Ds Max 2013

Please attach your images to your posts, or embed them using the "Insert Image" button - neither of your "links" are working, as you can see above.

There's a little label in the upper left corner in each of your viewports, consisting of 3 parts, like this:

[+] [Perspective] [Shaded]

Click on [Shaded] / Display Selected > Display Selected With Edged Faces

And don't mind the ranting mods, your links are working fine here 🙂

They weren't here and still aren't (or I wouldn't have mentioned it :P)
