UV's from Revit - Stacket and connected

I'm working with a model from Revit that needs to be unwraped. The UV's are stacked and connected along one edge. The only way I've found to separate them is to select an individual face and use the 'break' button. Is there a way to do this to all connected UV's at once? Thanks.

Trying exporting from revit as a fbx instead of using the direct export to 3ds max. Then open the .fbx with 3ds max there should be no links back to revit after that.

Exporting it as an FBX from revit results in each element exporting separately, so you end up with hundreds of elements. True, they don't have the UV problem, but it creates many more problems. I import Revit 'per material' then bind it so I can modify the mesh. Did you think that the link is causing these issues, it's not clear?

Would it be possible for you post post a Revit file? Unless I'm forgetting something i don't think there's a "one step" way to separate those connected UVs in a logical way.
