This is a question about [UVW map] [face].

What I want to achieve is for all maps to come out in one direction.

For example

ABC-1.png

In the photo above, I have rotated the [Planes] by 90 degrees.

I want to use the [Face] option for the [UVW Map] to make them all align in the same direction.

[Resetting the XForm does nothing to change the axis orientation.

I'm guessing that the Vertex index has something to do with it, but I don't know how to fix it.

Please help.

[This is a translation, so the grammar may be awkward... sorry]

You can put a 'Unwrap UVW' modifier on each one, open the 'Open UV Editor...' and grab the face. Then rotate it however you'd like.

Thank you for your response.
However, I would like to see this issue when a large amount of [faces] are rotated randomly, like apartment windows, and I want them all to be aligned in a certain direction.
I would like to know if there is a workaround for this.

I would also have done what Rob said if dealing with just a few faces.

But when you say you have a large quantity of apartment windows all rotated differently, this little trick might save some clicking

The easiest way - apply a UVW map and just set it to "Planar" and "Y" alignment, and then add another UVW Map modifier and set to "Face". All polys should face that direction (or one direction, just select all the polys and rotate them).
