Hello, so every time i apply vray material or stander ed material no matter what it is glass, metal glitter, i always get plain color after rendering with alot of noise, i re-install 3ds max and vray and same problem,,i dont know what i do wrong but heres the scene and how it looks like.

What about your scene's lighting and environment? Do you have them set-up?

 

Try your Vray material on the Teapot model provided within 3DS max, instead of a box, unless you've already tried on complex objects. I am saying this because the teapot has been designed in such a way that it has concave and convex faces for light to interact. So it would give a better idea of how the material behaves.

yes material properties and scene set up is main thing to get same results and understand vray how it works....thanks
