Hello !

I have used splines and connected arcs and lines , and when I select them together to extrude them there is no face on the top and bottom.

Check the screenshot

Thanks you for your answers !

It looks like some of vertices are not welded. Make sure to weld all vertices before adding the Extrude modifier.

Draw over with a new line, enable snaps  toogle with only vertex to draw with precission.

Try again with the extrude modifier.

Thank you for your file. You cannot have a start and the end cap on not attached and welded shapes.

Steps to fix the issue:

(I included all steps on attached video)

1. Select any of the shapes, right click in the viewport to open the quad menu

2. From the quad menu chose: Convert to Editable Spline

3. Go to the quad menu again and choose: Attach

4. Attach all other shapes.

5. Select overlapping vertices on corners of connected shapes and weld them (use different values for the threshold if needed)

6. Now add the Extrude modifier.
