in MAX 2017 I no longer get a list of modifiers when clicking on modifier list.  I set up some buttons for modifiers I use all the time.  When I clicked on the modifier list to use one that I use less often the list no longer cam up.  Anyone have a solution to this.  Never seen this in any previous version and I've always set up buttons to be able to model faster. Thanks, Bert

just curious, have you selected an object to where you will apply your modifier?

Yes, I had an object selected.  That's when I noticed there was no modifier list.  I think I did figure this out and it puzzles me.  I use a 27" Cintiq as my main monitor for the graphics and sculpting work I do.  Just for kicks and giggles I moved MAX to my 24" second monitor.  Would you believe the modifier list came back.  Moved it back to the Cintiq and no list.  If I click on the list and hold it, sometimes there is a brief flash that I would guess is the list.  I have not tried this with any other size Cintiq.  I have updated the video card drivers, Cintiq drivers with no change.  This does not happen in previous versions of MAX.  Must be a new undocumented feature of 2017.  If anyone figures this out please let me know.

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you tell me what Cintiq and monitor you're currently using? I know some with monitors if the DPI scale is not the same on both you can run into this issue. Also, which version of Windows do you currently have out of curiosity?

Thanks in advance!

I'm using the Cintiq 27"HD Touch on an enterprise window 7 machine.  I can understand the dpi issue if it happened with all versions of MAX.  Everything works fine on 2016 and 2015, this just started with 2017.  I'm also using an Nvidia K4000 video card.

Thanks
