Interior Render vs Photo

Hi all,

I am leanring 3ds max and am self teaching. I have only used this for a few months so am happy with my progress thus far.

I decided to render a part of our home interior and compare it to a photo taken from the same position as I felt this was the best way to compare the realism.

I use Arnold to render my images. I have included a comparison and also the render on its own so you can see it in more detail.

I want honest thoughts on this image please good or bad. What areas need improving like modelling, textures, lighting etc.

Many thanks

Ben

Hi @10DSpace

Thanks for letting me know. Any way I can just add them as an image to this message box? I'm sure I've done it before

Yep.  It's the camera icon when you are replying to a message.  You are prompted to navigate to the image and select it; then it will be in the message box.
