Ignore Backfacing Button Disappeared

In my 3ds max 2022 I went to go and click ignore backfacing and the button has disappeared. I am unsure if I misclicked a keybind that did this or what but I've been searching the internet for an hour trying to find a solution. Just wondering if there is another way to find this button or a way to make it come back. Maybe I just haven't noticed its disappearance since upgrading to 2022 until now.

It's there but integrated into a new function called "Optional Culling". You would enable "Backface" to get the equivalent of the "Ignore Backfacing" toggle.

But it doesn't work. When I press the backfacing button and select the back polygon on the geometry, only the front one is highlighted anyway, how to select a polygon inside my geometry?

"Ignore Backfacing" tells 3ds Max to not select any polys that are facing away from you so the behaviour you are seeing is correct.

I guess I would need to know your workflow in more detail but if you are trying to do something like work on the interior parts of a car but the roof, windows, etc. make it hard to select what you need I would do the following:

• Select the outside polygons
• Use the "Hide Selected" in the Edit Poly attributes
• When done don't forget to click on "Unhide All"

Hi. Ignore backfacing isn't in Edit poly /Editable poly of 2022's 3ds max, but in Edit Mesh/Editable Mesh. I searched and found the information in Google .

I was able to use it in Edit /Editable Mesh.
