Hello everyone  ! I'm having trouble figuring out how to make the grid of bar stool. Who can show me the method to model it?. I tried some ways but it's not ok. Right is the model and left is the reference image. Thank everyone!

Hi,

One possible way is:

1- Select the polygons and use Inset to create the outer thickness,

Use the Group option.

2- Detach the Inner Polygons as a separate object

3- Select the newly created object and use Generate Topology with the Pattern shown in the image below

4- Now, in the Edge Sub-Object level, select all edges except the outer ones, and use the option

"Create Shape from Selection", and use the Linear option

5- Select the newly created 2D shape and enable the two options in the Rendering rollout as shown

In the image below. Now you can choose the Radial option or the Rectangular and play with their parameters.
