How to remove those lines/boxes from photos?

Hi,

I am very new to 3ds max. Someone showed me some stuff and that person activated those  boxes/ grid whatever on those photos. I dnt know how to remove those. or what are those called so that I can google. Those are not grid. I pressed 'G'. Please some one tells me how to remove those from the photos. please.

Assuming it's wireframe - would be easier to remove unnecessary edges rather than mess with viewport settings.

Select object with robot reference, 3, Ctrl + A, 2, Ctrl + I, Ctrl+ BackSpace.
