Hi @mitviz

You can find them in Group: Main UI, Category: PolyTools
Modeling>Hard, Smooth and Smooth 30 buttons  -> Hard, Smooth and Smooth Thirty actions
Selection> Tops, Open, Hard buttons -> Tops, Open Select and SharpEdges actions

Having the MaxScriipt Listener with the MacroRecorder Enable open when executing the command can often give you the name of the action you are looking for.

Thanks for reaching out, please let us know if the solve or not your issue.

Strange, I tested them to make sure first and they work on my side, can you try executing them with MaxScriipt Listener with the MacroRecorder Enable open to see if the action get listed and match those of the ribbon?

Keep in mind you need to be in the same conditions that allow the ribbon to display and execute the action for them to work from the toolbar too.

You should use the "SharpEdge" action for the Selection> Hard button, (instead of "Hard Selection")
I assume it is the one you try to add to your toolbar from the first post, are the other actions working?

ok the other actions dont work as well, sharp edge seems to work but it does not work how it should, when you use the hard selection option from the graphite toolset it selects all the hard outer edges which i like to chamfer, this is one of my main tools and it does not work, sharp edge works but it does not select everything, it works from the toolbar

My tests might be too simple, but they reproduce exactly what the Ribbon do, below is an example of selecting a cube only Hard Edges, same result as the ribbon, in principal both button trigger the same action, I could not explain how it would give different results, could you share a model with the issue, you can contact me privately (PM)
