cannot fing bevel

Hi ,

my name is Nikhil,

I am a user of 3ds max 2015 student version.i am unable to find Bevel option.

please give a solution.In the modifier list there is no Bevel option.

There are many type of bevel in Max, probably you are interested in one of two first ones. The first is a tool when you go to sub-object face in a edit poly and the other is a modifier.

Hi,

If your selected object is not a shape (Line, Circle, Rectangle, etc,...) you will not going to find

The Bevel modifier in the modifiers list.

You are right. I find confusing that the similar effect is called bevel at face subobject level and chamfer at modifier one or edge mode. In addition spline bevel and bevel profile. Chanfer is done normally in Max trimming an existing edge when bevel is extruding.

I guess they called it Bevel because it does the Extrusion and Scaling in one operation on each Level.

Same thing that happens when doing Bevel at a face level in Editable Poly or Editable Mesh.
