Do you mean, you want to convert a photograph into an image without modeling?

no. Im a kitchen designer and there are files you can download from appliance websites such as miele etc. which consist of a top front and side view of an appliance. Im wanting to know if they can be made into a 3d model

anything can be made into 3D if you have the experience and knowledge of the program you use, a program won't automatically do it for you, so you would need to look for some tutorials that will teach you on how to do this if you have no experience and knowledge of the program

seriously, you search the net and you couldn't find anything? you are talking hogwash,

link https://www.google.co.uk/search?dcr=0&q=3ds+max+kitchen+design+tutorials&oq=3ds+max+kitchen+design+t...

not everyone uses drawing (bluepints) nowadays, it all comes with experience so you won't find anyone to show you how to model from a drawing, if you watch any video tutorial and you build off that then you will get the experience

then why are you in a 3ds max community if you want something done in autocad? if you import your drawing into 3ds max then you can apply some modifiers to your drawing once you have done the outline of the model it should come out the same,

Many vendors provide 3D CAD solid models of their products.  Search the vendor's web site for CAD files and look for .dwg, .dxf, stl, or other file formats.

I put this search string into google:  create a 3d solid in autocad from 2d views

The number of hits was long.

There is a payware tut on Pluralsight by Roger Cusson called Modelling Residential Exteriors in Autocad that is good.
