For the Weight Tool it would be great to have a button called 'Select weighted Vertices'.
So by choosing a bone in the tool and hitting the above button selects all vertices regarding the weights for this bone.
Furthermore a transfer button would be great for the Skin Modifier at the Parameters rollout. So you could transfer the weight from a bone to another bone. So the old bone holds no information anymore but the new one.
