Video Trace modelling

There was a promising but no longer development application with a workflow I'd like to see in max, where after initial tracking analysis/import you can create models in 3D space by specifying matching points on two or more video frames:

I tried that software once and was able to create an acceptable model part in it but the modeling toolset part left a lot to be desired - and that area of max is already well developed:

There's also insight3D which works with multiple photos instead, but that one doesn't work all that well and reliably. Though the workflow idea is similar and also good.
