I use multiple versions of Max with them pinned to my task bar. It's hard to tell which release year is from the logo alone. Having a release date on it would be great. (Same goes for all Autodesk products.)
Thanks for the idea @dan.schoedel. However, this falls under the realm of the corporate branding and not part of the main development work for 3ds Max. We will pass along the sentiment as we've heard similar from users of other Autodesk apps as well.
