It's a crazy idea I know, but maybe if it was updated, and not just a couple of modifiers every year and USD, but actually updated to keep up with other modern software, a complete overhaul. you know, like C4d R21 did in 2019, or Houdini in 2018, or the FREE software Blender, who do it every week.
I know it's lot to ask for our over £2000 annual subs, but maybe consider hiring more than one dev.
