Hello ... My name is Kazem Qanbari I am 3DMAX and Plugin V-RAY instructor from Iran. I have been teaching this software ( 3DMAX ) since 5 years and also I design architectural projects by this software. I have an idea in order to improve this amazing software, that is adding ( teamwork function ) into software, in this way my colleagues and I will be able to work on a project at the same time. By the using this function project will be completed earlier and we spend less time on project and each person depending on his knowledge can help to complete it. For example: modelling is done by a person and another person works on Material. We belive this software will be more interesting and more functional . In the end I would like to admire your attempts you have done on this Powerful software.

If we're talking teamwork, nothing beats ftrack. But the scenario you mentioned is easily done with xRef scene out of the box (if you also need versioning, I'd consider giving Vault a try, too).
