Step snap like in maya

Step snap like in maya

For game developers it is a very necessary feature.
Especially when you work with unreal engine 5 where the modularity is a technical requirement.

Lets say you want to move some parts of the object to 10 cm. In Maya you can simply enable step snapping and each time when you move something it will do this in incremental steps.

In max you have to use 2d grids and snap to grid points (which also has a mathematical error) or to create some additional objects and snap to them. This is so old and inconvinient and blender, maya, cinema 4d - all the modern software has this for decades.

It also will be helpfull for architecture designers as well.

In 3ds Max, you can use transform type-in (shortcut: f12).

In absolute section you'll get current location and in offset section you can give desired value to move rotate and scale selected object.
