Rollout selection with right click

Rollout selection with right click

We need the ui to help us reach the far down rollouts fast instead of draging all the way down their ( either in modifier settings or material editor etc )

For example when am in material editor and i want to go to maps rollout i must drag down manually or using right click and select maps

The problem is when the maps rollout is already expanded i see a check mark beside it and when i click it i would just simply collapse it which is very not useful feature and you would've to right click again then select maps again to go there

things in 3ds max 2014 where much better and makes sense you right click and just select whatever rollout you want to jump there and it takes you there

Also right now clicking and selection the rollout will take you to there but the selected rollout header will be the only thing shown at the bottom so you need also to drag down manually again to show settings

I suggest the jump would make the rollout header at the top to be able to see its settings that i want to edit

this could be much worse in case of many multiple rollouts settings like in forest pack or multiscatter

If I could vote 14 million times I would.  Sorry this is going to be a rant. This was a feature I was using for years in ALL of areas that contain roll-up menus: material editor, environment, modifier stack, the list goes on. It was working as you show in the video up until 3ds2016 as far as I know, and then I made the jump to 2019 and the feature is gone and now has those wonderful and useless checkboxes. It completely slowed my fast VFX work to a crawl - either having to click 2x to jump to a rollup or resort to, ugh, scrolling - who scrolls anymore? VFX artsts have something called "deadlines". We don't have time to scroll. I've been looking for a solution to this removed feature for months - plugin, script, update, I'll take any solution. This is sad they took this feature away and are now calling it an idea or suggestion.

why did they break this idk, this is one of the most annoying things about the newest versions of 3ds max, now we need to scroll and scroll and scroll
