Really good ideas I've been coming up with over the past year

Really good ideas I've been coming up with over the past year

Invisible Toggle - Control over how transparent the object is when set to See-Through (between 0 - 100 for example)

Vertex Texture Paint - Just like Vertex Paint, except with textures instead so that textures can be painted.

Live Heightmapping - So when you're drawing in a paint program(or a tool like viewport canvas for example) which is in sync with your terrain so when you're drawing on your heightmap in whichever paint program/tool you can lively see the terrain changing as if you're directly pushing/pulling the terrain up and down.

FreeForm - Custom settings for the flatten brush that gives you the choices of flattening in Z,X and Y just like the main push/pull brush.

Selection Storage - Allow Unlimited amount of saves at once instead of just 2.

Selection Regions - Add a Magic Wand brush for selecting texture groups.

Selection Regions - let The Spray option have customise-able sizes(without having to zoom in and out)

PolyDraw - Optimize brush in poly draw - customise-able settings including size of brush etc.

Helper - Grid - New parameter to select how many rows/segments which Snaps Toggle Applies to.

WireFrame - The ability to view specific objects in wireframe mode

Standard Parameters - "Sided Plane" - Same as Plain except 2 sided.

Standard Parameters - "BoxTube" - Same as Tube but in box square form.

View Edged Faces Toggle - The ability to change the color of the lines and also able to set custom(egs.0-100) transparency of the lines making it so when you're making high poly maps the lines don't stand out so much and make your terrain hard to see.

Push Modifier - A new parameter that let's you customise how big or small you want the bubble effect to be.

Selections - The ability to select polygons by height. An example would be if you select 0 it will select all polygons at that specific height. Also a parameter for this 'Tolerance' which allows you to select a height range like for example 0.0 to 2.0 if tolerance parameter is set to a number higher then 0.

Selection - (Ignore backfacing related) - Add another checkbox that instead of Ignore Backfacing, It will ignore unseen polygons that are not visible in the viewport. Example: An unseen part of terrain that sits behind the terrain you're selecting because even with ignore backfacing checked, when you select a peice of the terrain it will still select facing Stuff that are hidden behind the terrain you just selected. Something like 'Ignore unseen'

Selection - When selecting polygons or edge etc. where the'Grow' and 'Shrink' are have a button that lets you shift the selection in whichever direction you want. It would work the same way as 'Grow' except it moves the whole selection area.

Open window - I think the thumbnail that shows a small picture should be bigger. I've always felt it's too small
