Let me preface this by saying that I don't legitimately think any of the ill will people have over software choices is constructive to the industry at all and this is just a totally friendly suggestion.
So some of my feed on twitter was doing a complain about blender day and as someone who primarily uses blender I felt the need to say something snarky about 3dsmax on my own twitter... the Autodesk help desk twitter actually responded to my snarky comment and started a discussion that lead me to a legitimate idea.
Blender already offers a "maya mode" that changes some hotkey, mouse and viewport functionalities to mimic that of maya to help people coming from a Maya background use the software more easily -- it would legitimately be a great/awesome feature to have something similar in max for the reverse -- a "blender mode" that can be selected that remaps hotkey presets to be similar to blender and changes viewport and mouse features (such as switching to right-click select).
I've dabbled with using both max and maya but haven't taken the leap to make any kind of full switch, something like this would make me reconsider that for sure, as I'm sure it would for a lot of blender users who use the program not because of its free status but because of interface preference.
