Please make an option to prevent automatic docking

Since 3dsMax moved to Qt, everytime when I move floating dialog, 3dsMax is trying to dock the dialog automatically.

This is really annoying for many users.

in 2019, you can press CTRL to prevent dock.

But, default behavior should be reverse, docking only when you press CTRL.

Either reverse the behavior or give us an option to set the behavior.

LockUI doesn't help either because you can not even resize Se or TV if you lock UI.

Great idea, I'm happy to see an official idea about this! It's something that we often hear customers complain about, but it didn't really have representation as an idea on this forum. I'll try to rally some votes from users who have discussed this in the past, and see about kicking off a quick research activity for the developers to take a look at this.

But under Customise, there is the checkbox anyway to Lock the UI, only it doesn't currently work.......

Fix the checkbox so that it works then the dialog boxes won't try to auto-dock.

Once that's fixed, yeah, it'd be neat if then when holding <control> will override the lock and allow you to dock a dialog box.

How many years must we endure the automatic docking. This should be a basic fix.
