Particle Flow Improvement "Multi-Threading" & more

Particle Flow improvement Requests
- improved Particle Flow UI, specially "box#3"
- Recompile PFlow from 32bit to 64bit "Multi-threading".
- Including Advanced Particles Mesher.
- Including Advanced Particle splines tracer, splines and Polygons connector like Atom & plexus plugins.
- integrate Particle Flow and Bullet FX to simulate multi-physics.
- Including mParticles physics presets.
- Other engine than Physx, like Bullet Physics, FEM and Sand solver
- More accurate and precise Collision of Mp/physx Shape on Box#2.
- More data operators, like noise and turbulence
- Better caching system.
- Dynamic fragmentation.
- Integrated 3d Fractal system like mandelbulb 3d
- Reaction diffusion system with presets
- Vertex color support In Viewport.

Maybe its too much, But this is my wish list
Thanks

Hopefully tyflow will be implemented.

Awesome discussion and support for this idea! I will bump this up one status level while we gather our thoughts internally, keep it up!

Can i put 10+ vote on this.

This is amazing. TyFlow is a must have.

If Autodesk and the Development-team of 3ds max really takes it serious with 3ds Max, they will implement tyFlow in Max.  But please, don´t do it like in many other cases. Buy, implement and stop the development.

So much tools in max are great, but stock in development.

TyFlow just looks too good to be true. I really hope it gets a release or gets implemented since Pflow is so outdated.

Keep pflow updated year to year.

Its unbelievable that on 2018, we are still having this particle limit, and 50% particles display on viewport. Yes, are stupid things but is good to see how untouched pflow has been for last 9 years.

Pflow should be selfcontained, no hundreds of helpers hided on your scene should be created.

Support instances particles.

Take a look at Tyflow.

I have some good news for you!

There is still some hope for particle flow users!

From Tyson Ibele

I've actually been working on a replacement for Particle Flow, massfx, etc, that should help bring Max back into the 21st century. It's a complete rewrite of Particle Flow from scratch. Some things already implemented:

* Every operator is fully multithreaded
* Tons of new operators, featuring things like a granular solver, cloth, rope, proper path follow, DLA growth, constraints, etc
* Spline operator and a super fast spline meshing modifier for converting particle trajectories/neighbors/constraints/etc into spline meshes
* Up-to-date PhysX support
* Voronoi fracture, brick fracture, boolean fracture, convex decomosition, etc, built-in
* All of PFlow's terrible O(n^2) operations that make it totally unusable for productions have been properly accelerated (mesh collisions, nearest neighbor searches, surface lock/bond, etc)
* No more hidden PFlow operator/event nodes in the scene to manage, each flow is fully self-contained
* Tons of extra control has been added to all the base operators, and each operator has timing activation controls
* A C# script operator that executes nearly as fast as native c++ and that supports multithreaded scripts
* VRay instance rendering support, GPU instancing in the viewport (easily display 100s of millions of polys in the view no problem)
* Super fast auto-caching, similar to how Houdini caches things on the fly
* PhoenixFD grid support, PRT import/export
* Simulation retiming
* A custom file caching system that is often hundreds/thousands times smaller in file size than alternative systems like xMesh

It's basically what PFlow could have been, if development didn't stop like 10 years ago.

I've been posting development tests occasionally here, and plan to release a public beta version once it gets a little more feature complete. Still working towards adding things like crowd simulation support, ragdolls, etc.

TyFlow good, Pflow bad.

I like the interface for Pflow, but holy hell is is the most painful thing I've had to do. constant freezing while part of that one little core humms away delivering to the viewport. It's insane this is in a modern product.

So from what i understand, you guys want to inject  probably 100k+ lines of code into 3dsmax codebase that the 3dsmax developers have no knowledge or insight of, and that also probably don`t follow their codestyle and documentation. And you guys hope that Tyson won`t walk away from this, if he loses interest like the original developer of PFLOW did.

Did i get this right?

Yep. Just like, Mental Ray, Quicksilver, Reactor, BiFrost, err the Ribbon/Jewel Button, CAT, Biped, ect.

Oleg left because he was making a LOT more money someplace else. That is a life decision, nothing to do with PFlow.

Tyflow is a very  fantastic  particle system. Hope your company can support Tyson ibele.

Sorry guys, but I don't understand so much enthusiasm about Tyson works. I see only rendered videos which was done by "rewritten" Pflow and it looks pretty nice.
But, I don't know how much would be price of this tool, will be it stable or not ... and much another...
So without tech specs and comparison test I can't share enthusiasm in this thread.

TY flow into native max that's the best option,  update the max core features please.
