move with arrow keys

The amount of products on the market that utilize the arrow keys as move tools are myriad leaving the unanswered question, "why not 3DS Max?".

Why can't I move anything in 3DS with arrow keys like I can in absolutely every other piece of software I use?

My suggestion would be

first-

make it happen

second-

use the zoom function as the variable that controls the arrows effect.  For example, zooming out and moving the object with one push of the arrow button will move the asset a distance relative to the screen only but have a larger effect relative to the model/space, meaning that zooming in closer will have move the asset the same distance relative to the screen but have a smaller, finer effect relative to the model/space.

Zooming out and pressing a direction will have a larger effect than if zoomed in.
