Make great software

My idea is to include most of great ideas from this topic into Max. And make it great.

Hi @impacman

The development teams are already doing this are are committed to keep on doing this. Fluids, scene converter, motion paths (to name a few) all got prioritized thanks to the ideas and feedback through this forum.

Can you recommend a few ways that we might better communicate our commitment to this ideas forum?

Of course i can. It easy -

1)make communications like blenders' developers throuh forum and streams like "blender today".

2)open comments at YouTube 3ds max learning channel and give us feedbacks (like Lars Christensen about fusion 360)

3)Also we need extended lerning paths for max features with actual (not outdated information) like zbrush, allegorithmics, 3d coat...have

Thanks for the feedback

Have you seen the AREA? This is a place where we post cool customer success stories, blog posts from internal and external experts, and general knowledge outside of a "forum" context:

Here's a few quick links:
https://area.autodesk.com/

https://area.autodesk.com/all/blogs/3ds-max/
https://area.autodesk.com/all/life-in-3d/3ds-max/

With respect to the YouTube channel, that requires a bit more attention from the team in order to bring it to a real interactive state. I agree with you that Lars' channel is definitely the model to follow 🙂

I'll make sure to pass along your feedback regarding learning paths to our learning content team. What kind of content would you prefer to see? guided video tutorials? written lessons? more samples?

Hi

best learning experience for my mind- is series of video tutorials (not little help internet page or hard to undestand sample, and also not 2-3 very basic video tutorials, but 20-30 detailed videos, covering one topic from basic to experience). Of course i dont talk about something simple like uv(max uv is just poor at moment) and modeling (but todays actual modeling technics should also be presented - booleans, geometry and shading projections),, but there are very powerful tools inside max that almost nobody knows how to use:

pf source with its data operator

data chanel modifier

max script

and, of cource, MCG (with actual node examples)
