Glowing material

Glowing material

Hi guys,
Just a simple option in Material Editor, to make particular material glow with several parameters such are colour, opacity, map control.
Cinema 4D already has this option for years.
3ds Max lacks that over and over again, nothing has changed for some really long time.

Why don't you simply add feature to material in material editor that enables it to glow with several parameters such are colour, opacity, map control?
3ds Max has it, but you need to go around and round to achieve so, and it takes hours to render.
Cinema 4D has that option already for many years and one can turn it on and of inside material editor.

It's all about your renderer - not 3ds max specifically. Vray literally has a light material specifically for this but it still uses Lens Effects in post processing.

We are not on the same path. Vray's light material lacks simplicity. This one would be just normal material with added option, and it can be easily packed there in advanced effects. This procedure right now is so complicated, and lens/flare effects hasn't changed since Max 2.
LightWave already has this option as simple as clicking a button.
