Dimensions in 3D Max

It would be very useful to add dimension lines to 3ds max, like in the attached gif - files

Thank you, I can change system units, we are talking about a NORMAL tool for measuring dimensions, like in AutoCAD, when it is more convenient to measure dimensions with a box - this is not very good.

Maybe I misunderstand your request, but Max DOES have a tape measurer tool, it that not what you are looking for?

EDIT: oh, sorry, I think you might be referring to the visual "box" that is at the end of the tape, yes? I suppose that is a bit odd graphically, but I guess for me... calling out dimensions visually in a 3D modeler isn't a typical use case situation, that's seems more like a function I would look for in CAD/BIM software.
