Arnold

Arnold

Why, oh why do you have to force us to have Arnold as part of the istallation process? Not everyone can use it, and, not everyone wants it. Yet, every time I update, I have to remove it from the system, as my card can’t handle the thing. Give us an option, please!

What would your video card be? My HD6970 doesn't seem to work on him either.

it looks like all certified hardware is listed until 2016. Our guys do not seem to be on this list:

I ask because during an upgrade to 3dmax 2018, I had problems with an add-on for Arnold that was installed together. In my case, I did not install the arnold together with 3dmax because I already knew the problems, so I chose not to install. In this case I simply removed the MAXtoA folder from the system files because I do not even use this renderer.as well RADEON, yours GTX also seems not to be listedas well RADEON, yours GTX also seems not to be listed

This is the thing. I have an issue with memory, so when it comes to things I don’t do often, if there’s is no reason for me to do something, ill probably not do it. Or, at least forget it needs to be done. This can cause real issues where Arnold is concerned.
