Adding ability to go up one level in Slate Material Editor

It is very easy to navigate to sub items in both classic and slate material editors. In classic mode there's a drop-down list that allows you to go back up to previous levels (see image attached). It would be great to have the same feature in slate material editor or a back button to go back to previous nodes - understanding that there might be multiple nodes receiving the current nodes output.

Unfortunately, we're missing this button in the Slate Material Editor where I'd like to have the ability to go back up one level. Because the graphic editor allows multiple parents, the "go to parent" can't really work here. However, after going down to a sub-item, a button to go back up to previous level would be great.
