Access Point Cloud in Maxscript

There is now way to select/access points in the point cloud in maxscript.

 

I want to be able to snap Verts and or Knots to the point cloud using maxscript.

It would be highly useful if i could conform a mesh to Point Cloud, whether in maxscript or as a max feature.
