3ds MAX Guide include a path map of all the default files paths, the “how” and “why” of their functionality. Also some standard workflows as envisioned by Autodesk experts. A tutorial going over this aspect would also help users get the most out of the product.

General notes on 3ds MAX Guide:

1. More links to related articles
2. More screen shots – words are often inferior to pictures for quick recognition
3. Have every menu item, action, etc. in 3ds MAX show up in a search. Many times I will search for one, and it won’t be returned in the search!
4. A few years back the MAXScript manual was improved amazingly – useful code snippets, clear and meaningful definitions  - the 3ds MAX Guide could take a cue from it!

Archiving as we currently have all of this in our help. If there is something specific missing, it would be better handled through our support forums which we will then update our help docs or create an AKN article around a specific workflow.
