For a while i'm using Stingray to create a VR presentation and our client likes it. I created a simple menu, some camera and a pause/play of animation to present. I'ts very surprising that Autodesk suddenly stop developing it. I think there is a big market for this specially it is now added in 3DMax (interactive). I think a adding a simple menu (e.g. lights, touch screen control (moves).. and dash board (car menu).. will make this 3Dmax interactive more powerfull  and a great software for BIM.

While it was a good idea to try, in the end it wasn't competing well with established VR products like Unity or Unreal.  That meant either canceling or keep shoveling money into the hole.

yup.. that's very true.. but the thing is if autodesk will add just a bit of useful menu for BIM purposes then i think they can up the value of3Dmax not only for pure rendering/animation software.. but it will likely compete a good BIM/CIM tool. Using Unreal/Unity are good but small/mediumcompany might not as well hire programmers only for the purpose VR... that's why i think 3Dmax interactive is in strong position to be a very usefullBIM tool....

I'm going to archive this for reasons of "already offered". While the tools may be not fully developed or user friendly and would need some work to match what you're describing, we don't have the bandwidth as a development team to fully pursue lot's of feature enhancement and development for 3ds Max Interactive right now.
