[xView] "Select Results" doesn't seem to work on found Open Edges

Can anyone confirm that xView  "Select Results" works on Open Edges or on any other items?

I cannot confirm. Seems to do nothing.

In the case of open edges it's no big deal: just hit Ctrl-A in BorderEdge-mode...

it only works on editable meshes as far i can see. It does not select the edges on Edit poly as far i tested

within the new viewport updates and features and a possibly further improved Mesh cleaner modifier I hope X view will get the chance to be more usefull
