Hi all,

I always get this error message when I use AOV during rendering, it say.....

[Arnold]: 00:01:23 9838MB WARNING | [aov] all output filters not optimized for progressive -- expect worse performance and memory consumption

I had tried different settings but it always come back with the same error message.

May I know is there a solution to this issue that I encounter.

Thanks and hope to hear from you guys soon.

Stay safe,

Derrick Teo

Hello @derrick.teo ,

It's not an error message, just a warning.  You should be fine to continue.  If you want better performance, use buckets rendering.

Hi,
I am using the office computer and it have no Vray render engine, at the moment I am using Arnold as my default renderer. So how to set it to buckets rendering in the system? I look around and I dun seems to find the option for buckets rendering. Hope someone can enlightening me.

Thanks,

You probably have this option ticked

Depends on what you are doing. If you are doing LookDev, then yeah, you can have that option so Arnold works more like a progressive renderer. If you are doing a final render, just remove that option, otherwise you will have issues with memory.
