Workflow 2020 3ds max dynamic weather, clouds and sun system?

Hi! What would be the best workflow for getting a dynamic weather, clouds and sun system in our 3ds max rigs right now? I mean something like what you can find in the Vue-gallery;

Like, something that we today have to rely on static HDR's to do.

Do I still have to rely on Vue to make this happen, or are there any other tricks that can make these moods in a few button clicks, like what you can do in other softwares these days. TwinMotion for an example.

Changing cloud types, formations, cloud density, cloud height, all connected to time of day, rain, snow, atmosphere fillness. If I find a solution for this, my days as a Max user probably will be extended, if not I am soon to force our studio over to other and more modern 3d packages that has this kind of dynamic systems native.

Sorry for being a little critical here, but it's what it is.

Not a complete 1 click solution by any means to everything you are requesting, but you should check out this video of a real-time cloud shader using OSL.  I

To be honest, I am just beginning to probe into OSL myself, but I wanted to share this as it came up in another topic thread here.  Maybe it will be helpful in some way.

Thank you! Seems interesting, and to a degree dynamic(?). Very little info about this shader to be found though. Do you know more?

@chroma123

I also could not find anything specific about the OSL code for this cloud sytem.  The guy who created the shader  @madsd  is the forum expert on this and may be able to point you in the right direction if not make the OSL code available.

The other expert working on OSL is Zap Anderson who has made some OSL shaders available online   ( https://github.com/ADN-DevTech/3dsMax-OSL-Shaders)  and has some good tutorial videos explaining the OSL language.  Lesson 1 is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e13oLqwy6U if you are interested.

I am slowly watching these as time allows, but don't really know anything more regarding the specifics of the Real Time Cloud System.
