Hello everybody. I am in a dilema on choosing between 2 powerfull cards, and between 2 powerfull procesors, witch one would you recommend me with you experience?
The 2 GPU options are:
-AMD Fire pro w8100
-Nvidia Gtx 980 ti
The 2 CPU options are:
-Intel core i7 4790k
-Intel core i7 6700k
Has anyone tested them on 3ds MAX , witch one makes faster rendering.

The two CPU's are so close, its almost irrelavent which one you buy. However, I would get the 6700 CPU for 2 reasons. The 2as released a year before the 6700. In CPU tech, thats a long time. Second, the 6700 uses DDR4 and the older one uses DDR3 ram.
The video cards...I used to be an AMD fan, but have since switched to Nvidea and not looked back. I think it comes down to (in my experience) that Nvidea has better drivers. I could be wrong...just an opinion.
