Hello, I need to buy a new laptop for 3D modeling, rendering and doing some animation, but I'd like to know what's the difference between certified and non-certified hardware?
I found a laptop with the following specs: Laptop ASUS ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 16" 4K Ultra HD, Intel Core i7-12700H 3.50GHz, 32GB, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA RTX A3000 ($4300 dlls) and another one with the following specs: Laptop Gamer Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16IRX8H 16" WQXGA, Intel Core i9-13900HX 2.20GHz, 32GB, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 ($3572 dlls).
As you can see, the first one have certified hardware, and the second one have non-certified hardware, the difference in price is around $750 dlls, and I have the feeling that A3000 RTX have less performance than RTX 4080.
I'd appreciate if you could tell me if it's worth having certified and sacrificing powerful hardware?

No.
Hi,
https://technical.city/en/video/RTX-A3000-mobile-vs-GeForce-RTX-4080-mobile
RTX4080 blows the RTXA3000 out of the water.
I presume the i9 would murder the i7 too.
As above, certification be damned. I know what I'd be buying.
