Weird window obstructs my workspace

What is this window in the top left? It appeared yesterday and I cannot make it go away.

You can try deleting the 3DSmax.ini file and then startup 3DS max to see if it goes away. Deleting 3ds. I've never seen something like that before and this is what I can suggest.

I am also wondering whether it's the interactive rendering window, like Iray. I am not sure...

Hard to tell just from a picture, maybe using XWinspector you could find out more about the window that obstructs the view.
