hi everyone.

I am new with 3ds max and I am rendering with vray but vray does not show my objects in render. Vray objects for example lights or plane are shown in render.

I do not figure out what problem is.

Try to flip normals of the model, if that does not work, please save your scene as 3ds max 2014 and share with me so i can take a closer look.

Hi;

After receiving your file as a private message, i simply rendered it as i received it, without any modifications;

I also noticed that adding Normals modifier does NOT change anything, since your objects normals are fine, so you can remove it.

here's the result on my screen:

12345.jpg

My version of 3ds max is 2014, using V-Ray 3.30.05

I will simply want more screenshots from you, after the modifications below:

-Please assign a basic VRayMtl on your object, preferably with a texture (checker, maybe) preferably your whole scene and render, and share the result

-Please create a VRay Light > Type: Dome (place it anywhere on your scene and render, and share the result

-Please turn Global Illumination on, leave the parameters as default and render, and share the result

It shows objects when I zoom out too much. whenever I look closest the objects I cannot see it on render.

I think my problem is zoom :S

Hi;

This is really strange, because i can render it at every level of zoom.

Can you try the following;

-Open a new scene of 3ds max

-Go to Customize > Units Setup Change Display unit scale to Metric, then go to System Unit Setup (button located at top), Adjust 1 Unit = 1.0 Cm's.

-Go to File > Import > Merge and choose your sofa model you have been working on

Re-Render.

If this does not work too, please also try rendering your object with Default Scanline renderer and / or Mental ray renderer (do not forget to change it's material to standard in this case, since VRayMtl currently assigned to this object might not be rendered by MR or Default Scanline R.

I have created a scene and when i try rendering it with vray for some reason the render output is odd can any one help me with this? The VRAY physical cam is not placed inside any object which means no object is obstructed with the camscreenshot 1.png

this is what i get when its rendered .........

You must turn off the Environment / Expose control "Mr photographic expose control" and put <No expose control> or Vray expose control
